Agency heads from shops as big as EHS Brann, Chemistry, Craik Jones and TMW are all regretting the missed chance to take control of Diageo's data to drive its strategic plans, with some bunch called Tonic Direct Marketing (er, who?) being appointed instead.

This bloke called Nigel, who goes by the name of 'Lone Wolf', is one of those people who pretend to work in your new business department and book meetings with potential clients for you - and Tonic's one of the agencies he represents.
