Q 1 Can you operate as effectively from Thailand & deliver the same results as you previously did operating from the UK?
A Absolutely, as all of my existing UK clients will verify. Utilising the latest high -tech ISDN Digital phone line/phone I achieve equal voice quality parity as if I were calling from the UK.I work the same hours calling the UK in normal office hours Mon-Fri.
Q 2 Do you supply the contact database or do we?
A Normally the client provides the contact database [approx 1000 contacts for a 10 day Pilot campaign] on Excel or Access spreadsheet format after the mailing/e-shot has taken place.
However, as a Database Broker I can source this at extra cost if required or advise you of the best quality lists on the market. Quality recently “cleaned” data is paramount to the success of any Direct Marketing campaign.
Your own unique Database requirements can be refined to include Industry sector[s],name of decision maker & job title, size of co. by various criteria such as T/O, no of employees or pc’s & of course- TPS screened Telephone nos & addresses.
Q 3 Do you advise us to send out a targeted e-shot or direct mail shot prior to you calling?
A Absolutely, it is a vital component of the campaign, as it stops the decision makers "fobbing" you off with excuses & enables me to go on the attack from the off. However, in some cases, especially in the larger organisations, some database "cleaning" or "profiling" of their personnel needs to be sorted out first, which I am happy to do if needed.
Q 4 How do you represent your clients when talking to the prospects?
A I normally announce myself as my client's New Business Director, but I am able to be your New Business consultant or manager, whichever you prefer. So I act as an extension of your Marketing Department as such.
Q 5 How many calls do you make daily & what decision maker contact rate do you achieve normally?
A I average approx 75 calls /day reaching between 10- 20 Decision makers depending on job title ie Directors are obviously more difficult to reach than Managers. I deliver quality rather than quantity. After each day I email you the updated version of the contact database on Excel or Access spreadsheet format enabling you to see at a glance the results of the work done that day.
Q 6 After the 2 week pilot campaign, how do you operate from there?
A Normal procedure after the successful completion of the Pilot is to agree a 12 months rolling contract with 3 months written notice either way. This will detail how many days per month you wish me to be retained for – 4 days per month seems to be the norm.
Q 7 Data confidentiality. How can we be sure you will not use our data for other purposes?
A I am a Member of the Institute of Direct Marketing[M IDM] & as such have to comply with their strict data confidentiality rules. In addition, I am quite prepared to sign a NDA [non- disclosure agreement]which I have done with several of my clients.
